6th Gear proudly supports the Children’s Wish charity organisation.

In 2015 we raised $15,000.00 dollars!

On behalf of the 6th Gear Team, we would like to thank everyone who participated in our 2015 fund raising efforts.

Because of your generosity, and the generosity of 2 anonymous donors who came forward to match donations, we were able to raise an astonishing $15,000.00 dollars.

It truly means a lot to the Families, and they are more appreciative than you can ever imagine.

We are blessed, and so proud to call you our friends.

Thank you!

About our 6th Gear Inc., support of Children’s Wish

We help by supporting track day ride-a-long events for the charity at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. We provide food and refreshments for the many guests and volunteers and a good number of our generous members join in with the drivers and cars that are used to allow as many terminally ill children the chance to ride around one of Canada’s great motor sport venues at speed as possible. Everything from Ferraris, Porsches, Race cars, street cars, Wrecker trucks and Police cars have been present to fulfil every possible vehicle choice to guarantee a smile on many young children’s faces every year.

About Children’s Wish:

Each year, thousands of Canadian children between the ages of three and 17 are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is dedicated to granting an exceptional wish to every child.

Established in 1984, Children’s Wish is a national non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling a favourite wish for children diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Since its inception, Childrens Wish has granted more than 19,000 wishes for children and their families and fulfills approximately 1000 wishes annually — granting nearly three wishes everyday — each being an individual adventure, carefully structured to meet the needs of that particular child. The foundation has never refused a wish to an eligible child.
