6th Gear High Performance Driver Development (6GHPDD)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


DATES AND COSTS:

Our 2024 dates: July 3 and August 7

Cost for the day: $950 plus applicable taxes


You will be required to read and sign a track waiver prior to entry.

Our track day coaching runs “rain or shine”


  • You must provide your own car. It must be well maintained and free of clutter inside the cab.
  • 6th Gear has a “zero” tolerance policy for anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • 6th Gear has a “zero” tolerance policy for anyone who drives erratically or in an unacceptable way as deemed by 6th Gear coaches.
  • 6th Gear has a “zero” tolerance policy for anyone who gets into an altercation, to include physical and verbal abuse, with any other participant of the program or any of the organizers and coaches of the program. 
  • Anyone violating any of the “zero” tolerance policies will be ejected from the program and CTMP immediately.
  • Helmets optional but you can use your own if you wish.


WHO CAN ATTEND:

Anyone can attend this 6GHPDD provided they have a current and valid driver’s license from anywhere in Canada and the USA. There is no requirement for any previous performance driving experience. If you bring a guest or guests, there will be additional charges. 
 

DRIVE YOUR OWN CAR:

You will provide your own car for this 6GHPDD. Your car should be well maintained with particular attention to ensure your tires are inflated to manufacturer recommended pressures and in proper condition, your braking system is in proper condition. Your seat belts must be fully functional as you will be required to wear them anytime you are driving your car at this program.


The program uses orange pylons that if hit, may cause damage to the body panels and paint. The best way to avoid damage is not to hit them.


Please remove all loose items from your car prior to departing to the track as there is no safe storage at the track. 

 

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE DAY:

Please wear comfortable clothing, flat soled shoes (sneakers work well), sunglasses, prescription glasses and/or contacts lenses, sunscreen and prepare for both warmer and cooler temperatures.


If you need snacks and refreshments throughout the day, please bring your own.


You day includes lunch and will be served at 6th Gear’s Private Members Lounge in Gasoline Alley at the Grand Prix Circuit during our break at 12:30PM


We do have a vegetarian meal however sometimes we run out but will endeavour to provide one should you need one. Please advise us in advance so we can prepare.

 

DAMAGES TO YOUR CAR AND CTMP PROPERTY:

It is recommended you check with your insurance company before registering for this 6GHPDD because 6th Gear is, in no way, responsible for any damage caused to your car while at this program.


It is also the responsibility of any participant to make reparations to CTMP for  damages caused by you however caused by you to the facility.

 

ARRIVING LATE TO THE TRACK DAY COACHING:

We do understand that there are unavoidable situations that may cause a participant to arrive late to the 6GHPDD. If you are late you, and depending on when you arrive, you may not be permitted to join the track day as you may have missed too much of the program.

 

6th Gear coaches will attempt to blend you into the program upon your arrival however the final decision allowing a participant to proceed will be made by the coaches.

 

CHANGES TO THE SCHEDULED TRACK DAY/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

6th Gear reserves the right to cancel, postpone, change, and alter any scheduled 6GHPDD for reasons deemed necessary and based on conditions beyond its control.


There are a limited number of grid positions available for each track day program. Your registration fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable once you have registered for your 6GHPDD  program.


There are no refunds or transfers to another track day if your car breaks down or you leave prior to the end of the 6GHPDD.
